I'm thrilled to be running a week long creative writing workshop in the South of France this October and hope you can join us in a beautiful location for a week of writing, talking about writing, more writing, fabulous food and local wines... and more writing.... I can't wait! http://tinyurl.com/63x34hp Please check the link soon if you're interested as places are very limited.
To get you in the mood, I've posted a few photos taken at some of my recent workshops.

You could find a worse place for writing workshops. My dream: to write in an attic room in Italy or the Midi during Summer. Then in winter find a similar attic room to write in Montreal or the Lake District.
Oh, and the Midi is a great setting for a crime story. France in general in fact, they know how to make quality noir.
Sounds like a plan, Guillaume! They all sound like wonderful places in which to write - in fact, anywhere at all would do me!
I would love to be there for some creative writing workshop! I could write both in French and English (double the fun!). But I don't know where I'll be in October, but there is a fair chance that I`will be somewhere cooler.
"cooler"? - talking about the temperature, I trust, Guillaume!
That would be so cool, but it's school time unfortunately.
Not for me, Charles. But wouldn't it have been wonderful to meet in France for a week of writing! One day, perhaps.

woops - how did that happen?
Oh I wish...sounds wonderful!
Looks wonderful!
Leigh, sounds like a dream. Of course you will be inspired to give us your next book set in the South of France, right?
Could well be a 'French connection' in the next book... !
Oh course I was referring to the weather!
But I think your next novel should be set partially in France.
If only! Where? The Languedoc used to be my stamping ground.
No book yet. It's been delayed.
It's a great idea, Guillaume. I'll work on that when I'm there.
Hi Pat, we'll be near Perpignan. I've posted the link and would love to see you there!
Looks beautiful.
I just hope enough people come along to make it happen, Star. It realy does look lovely, doesn't it?
Wow, I just came across your blog on Vraie Fiction, as Guillaume has been so gracious to include our blogs in the last posting. I noticed you will be hosting a workshop in southern France in October. I as well will be in southern France, not soon enough in my opinion, however; unfortunately our timing will not coincide. Best luck to you, I look forward to reading your book!
Hi guinea pig - sorry you won't be able to join us in France. Have a wonderful time in France yourself.
