That's good news, and congratulations. Today I just learned that L'Échange, a second hand bookstore where I used to go very often when I lived in Montreal, was back in 1972 the setting of a particularly violent murder. I thought about you.
Fantastic to see all three books on the shelf together and displayed so prominently. Love it!
oooOOOooo Guillaume! Tell us more!!
Thanks, Helen. It's a great photo - 'Crime we love' ! We know what they mean...
gotta love that display.
I've got my own display.Loving 'Dead End'. I couldn't wait for my holiday:)
I'm so glad you're enjoying it, Pat, and thank you for letting me know. I hope you have a wonderful holiday!
I am not very far in the chapter, but basically the key witness in the murder if an anti-maffia politician and social activist in Sicily got murdered years later in Montreal, stabbed to death in his own restaurant, which is now a bookstore.
It sounds exciting, Guillaume.
It is. I might write something about it one day. Or feel free to use it yourself. If you make a book out of it, you owe me a beer (a dedication is not necessary).
So that's one undedicated beer...
congrats! I've always wanted to write a series, i have some great ideas (or so i've been told haha) but sadly i just dont have the grammar to make it work. Maybe when im older.
The books look wonderful on the shelves in Waterstones. You must be so proud! Congratulations.
