I can't believe it's almost two weeks since I last posted here. The time has flown by so fast I feel quite dizzy. Apart from teaching, and dealing with life, I've been spending every second working on ROAD CLOSED. The final deadline is looming - in fact, it's already passed but my publisher has generously allowed me a little Leighway (ha!)
There's so much to think about. If something happened on Saturday, I can't later refer to it taking place Monday, etc. It should be simple - I make a plan - but I always get in such a muddle! I'm going to make a much more detailed plan for book 3.
Must go - more chapters to check. Is it hard work? Yes. Do I regret embarking on this crazy writing career? No, no, NO! I love it.
As for CUT SHORT - the reprints are done and it is back in stock on amazon. Here are the links again, in case you feel like clicking.

YOu sound like you are having such fun now, Leigh! Life can be good, can't it?
Hi Rick - yes, busy and happy. I need more hours in the day!
Glad you are happy, such an inspiration to those of us still looking for success. Looking forward to the next instalment.
Thanks, Mel. But I'm really no more a success than you are. Look at all you're doing with your life. Your blog is inspiring as well as entertaining. I wish I'd been as positive as you when my children were young.
Enjoy enjoy!
You go girl, you know it's really refreshing I can feel the energy bursting out of your writing here ;-))
Thanks, Val. I'm doing my best although it's all getting rather hectic. (What's new?)
Nice to meet you too - I'm afraid I can't replicate your name...
Energy flagging today, Pegster...
Weird things happen when revising. I find four chapters have morphed into five with a heading I don't remember:)
Yes, Pat. I find that too. Every time I revise ROAD CLOSED, I make a few changes. I told my publisher I'd finished months ago, but looking at it now, I am tinkering like mad! How will I know when it's finished? Especially when I think of CUT SHORT, and the changes I'd make if I could.
It's hard to let go, isn't it?
