Go to the other site, copy the http bit, then back to your site and click on the link chain thingy, it should open a box and rht click and past in the http thing, then click ok.
Oh my goodness, Debs. This all sounds very complicated. http and link chain thingy - this is far too technical for me! as for rht click and past in the http thing - I think I need a drink! mmmm nice cup of tea. Right. Now I'm ready to give the thingys a go...
when you are in the other site that you want to link to look at the top bar of your computer. It will have a whole code inside which will start with http://www. and so on. Do a Control C (to copy)and then go back to your posting site. Across the panel when you do a new post there is an icon that looks like a chain ... click on that and it will open up a box for you to Control P (to paste) - then you ok it. It pays to have your posting blurb already in your post before you click on the chain link, so that it actually links within the gist of your blurb. example: here is the World News site for so and so. After World News, thats when you click on the chain icon and put in your link and save and then finish your sentence in your post. Hope that helps.
Despite Debs' helpful instructions for which I'm grateful, I still haven't managed to create a link to www.crimetime.co.uk/publishing/ct54.pdf I can copy the http line, (and have managed to create a link on an email) but can't manage to find out how to do it here. Never mind. Perhaps I should stick to the writing.

Hope that's okay.
