I am pleased to learn that Jeffery Deaver has been chosen to write the new James Bond story. His interview on BBC Radio this morning can be heard on iplayer. http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_8710000/8710544.stm Jeffery Deaver was kind enough to email me to say he "loved" Cut Short. Here's what he said: "CUT SHORT is a stylish, top-of-the-line crime tale, a seamless blending of psychological sophistication and gritty police procedure. And you're just plain going to love DI Geraldine Steel."

Just ordered both your books and am looking forward to my hubby reading them to me.
I looked at your signing list. Wow, you are a busy lady. Nothing in this area (South Cumbria) but then I was told by a major publisher that they sold few books in these parts. Signings don't seem to go well either (according to a Barrow manager of what was Ottakar's - now Waterstones).
Golly, all that travelling too. You deserve to do well. When we finish each book, I'll do a review for Amazon and put it on my blog too.

I loved Cut Short, as did my mother and aunt, so I'll buy them copies of Road Closed this year. Trouble was I left out one aunt, whose name is Geraldine, so I'll need to get her a copy too as they're all over here this summer and I can't leave anyone out.
Looking forward to reading it.
